When to use: Calf blankets support the immune system during the first few days, protecting against cold stress in new-born calves, preventing diarrhoea and other illnesses. Protection is beneficial against sudden changes in the weather, with high risk of illness, during temperatures below 10 °C.
The calves generally wear the calf blankets for 3 to 4 weeks, and longer if necessary.
